There is no banner on this site because there is nothing to ask you about. That is a statement of fact and it is the reason, not a way of avoiding the question.

What is set

Nothing beyond what is strictly necessary to serve a page. No analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, no third-party cookie, and nothing that follows you to another site.

Why there is no banner

A consent banner exists to obtain consent for cookies that require it. There are none here. Showing a banner anyway would train you to dismiss the one that eventually matters, which is the practical harm most cookie banners actually do.

What holds that sentence up

The site refuses to send a cookie that is not strictly necessary unless you have accepted one, and a test walks every page and fails if one is set. So the sentence above is checked on every build rather than merely written here, which is the difference between a policy and an intention.

If that changes

The banner is already built and already withheld: it appears the day this site declares a cookie it has to ask about, in the same reviewed change that adds one. It offers accept and reject as the same control, side by side, one submission each, with no pre-ticked box, no legitimate-interest laundering of advertising cookies and no cookie wall. There will never be an advertising cookie, because there will never be advertising on any Avanti Scout surface at any tier.

The browser extension

When it is published, the extension will set no cookie on any page you visit. It analyses against the page you already have open and does not deposit anything on it.
